Founder

Blossom Group Chairman Mr. Sridev Mookerjea, a Chartered Mechanical and Marine Engineer, has an MBA from UK, is a recipient of the President's Award in recognition of outstanding services to the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (UK) at the Institute's Golden Jubilee Celebration in Singapore in September 2008 and was listed in International Who's Who of Professionals in 1999 in recognition of highly outstanding professional and civic achievements. He attended a few Worlds Economic Forums on special invitations.

He is recipient of “Lifetime Achievement Award” from The Joint Branch of Royal Institute of Naval Architects & The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (UK) on the 20th Anniversary (2022) of the Joint Branch in Nov 2022

Mr. Mookerjea is a dynamic person with over three decades of experience in various well reputed and large multi-national Shipping Companies, with good track records including, holding positions of high responsibilities such as Director, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mookerjea also has unique hands-on and management experience in most spheres of shipping and Maritime industries. Mr. Mookerjea has also been an investor and Director of an Eastern Indian Domestic Airlie (Bengal Air Services Ltd.) in the past.

He has extensively travelled across the world and has a great understanding of doing business in different parts of the world, while also developing ties with business and financial houses, venture capitalists and investors.

Mr. Mookerjea has been successfully running the Blossom Group of companies for the past two decades.

Marketing Director (Europe & S.E. Asia)

Mr. Dale is a British Citizen with 15 years of experience in Asia where he developed a large regional network of investors from High Net worth Individuals, Home Offices, Cash Rich Corporations and Trust Funds. He is considered to have unique expertise across many industries. He was the Head of Energy for the Scottish Business Association and a founding member of the proposed Iran Singapore Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Dale is experienced in raising capital and business development for companies in various industries. He has over 6 years of Business consultancy experience and has provided services to companies and projects in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Australia.

Business Development Director (Europe & Turkey)

Mr. Caner Ararat, a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, has been a Project Manager and possesses hands-on commercial experience, having served as Vice President (Commercial) of a world reputed Ship Building and Ship Repair Industry for a number of years. He has been instrumental in clinching numerous key deals for Ship Financing (European Funds) for new building of ships for our clients.

Business Development Director (USA)

Mr. Soham Mookerjea is a Partner and a member of the Board of Directors at Blossom Group of Companies and is based in the USA.

Mr. Mookerjea is currently co-founding 2 Health Care start-ups, which are both in the pre-seed stage. He is also in an executive leadership role at a start-up consulting firm, managing technology and infrastructure projects across the US.

Mr. Mookerjea has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering from UC Berkeley, a certification in Management from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and a Fellowship from the UC Berkeley School of Law.

Mr. Mookerjea was selected as one of the top 50 global innovators for MIT's New Venture's Leadership & Innovation program.

Mr. Mookerjea is a certified Project Management Professional and Scrum Master, an active member of the Silicon Valley PMI Chapter, and an accredited Angel Investor in EdTech, Sports Tech and FinTech industries.

Outside of work, Mr. Mookerjea plays competitive tennis, is a tennis mentor/coach to children aged 4-18, and enjoys travel, art and photography.

Senior Technical Director

Dr. Fernandez has an impressive academic record with several degrees and a doctorate in Chemistry from Curtin University of Technology, Australia. He has won numerous academic awards and was nominated for a University Post-Graduate alumni achievement award. He graduated at the top of his Undergraduate Chemistry cohort (with distinction), and received the Royal Australian Chemical Institute Prize. Dr. Fernandez also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Singapore Institute of Management. He has a strong academic background with corporate work experience in local and multi-national companies; notably providing high level technical consultancy and business management strategy, incorporating, maintaining and setting up new Management Systems. He has a vast knowledge of Metals and Mining Industries where he has negotiated a few deals for our Group during the last decade. He also has tremendous analytical and management skills.
